Rapid prototyping

Rapid prototyping is a group of technologies for fast production of parts which are fully functional, their mechanical properties are close to final products and they can even replace them. Technologies of vacuum casting and 3D printing by FDM method, which are used in a large extent in our company, belong to these technologies.

3D printing by FDM technology

Part produced by FDM technology

It’s a very advanced and progressive technology of prototype parts production. It is especially suitable for production of individual parts and it is possible to produce even non-demountable movable connections of two parts. The parts are created directly from the delivered 3D models which will be prepared for 3D printing by our engineers. The duration of printing depends on size and complexity of parts - it can take from several hours up to dozens of hours. By using technology of 3D printing by FDM method it is possible to save up to 80% of production costs of prototype parts (rate of cost saving depends on size and shape of parts and also on the type of original production technology). Vacuum casting

Vacuum casting technology is suitable for production of small series of prototype as well as final parts, namely in dozens or even hundreds of pieces. The accuracy of such produced parts is comparable with the accuracy of parts produced by technology of injection moulding; however, production costs of metal injection moulds are eliminated. Rate of production is several days – depending on number of produced parts and on size and complexity of parts. More information >>>
