Insufficient insertion of the wing flap drive pins into the guides in flaps can cause wear of the guides and subsequent problems in operation. In the extreme case the loss of flaps controllability can occur.
The ROTAX engine manufacturer has issued Service Bulletins SB-SB-912-078UL / SB-914-059UL / SB-912 i-014iS ordering the replacement of the propeller shaft and its accessories.
