Service
The engine manufacturer (ROTAX) has issued Service Bulletin
SB-912-076UL ordering the replacement of the fuel pump
nipple fittings. The reason for the replacement is the fact that a
certain number of fuel pump nipple fittings were installed using
a lubricant instead of the prescribed thread sealant LOCTITE
577 Yellow.
Lock of the wide tilting canopy installed on the SportStar aircraft and on some of the EV-97 aircraft (wide canopy is recognizable by guide pins at the canopy frame sides).
Unification of the strength class of the fastening bolts in the joint of the engine and the engine mount hinges and the resulting minimization of the possibility that these bolts will be accidentally interchanged.
