At the global AERO Friedrichshafen show Evektor presented its worldwide successful training and pilot touring airplanes - the SportStar RTC and EuroStar SL / SL+ .
The EASA certified SportStar RTC is popular for PPL training, maintaining pilot licences and pilot touring in flight schools worldwide. Its modern design, robust metal airframe, outstanding control harmonies and half the operation costs compared to conventional training aircraft make the SportStar RTC the number one choice for flight training organizations.
The SportStar RTC on display was equipped with the latest Dynon SkyView full redundancy Glass Cockpit with 10” EFIS and 7” EMS screens, ADAHRS module, dual GPS Mapping and 3D Terrain / Synthetic Vision System, COMM/NAV/VOR/LOC Garmin GNC 255, i-Pad and ballistic recovery system. At the beginning of the air show, the brand new SportStar bearing the F-HDLV registration number was handed over to a French customer – the company AirCraftRenting from Haguenau to be operated in air clubs across France.
At Aero 2015, Evektor revealed the new Towing version of the SportStar RTC, equipped with EASA certified in-flight adjustable, constant speed propellerWoodcomp KW-31. The modern design and low operating costs of the SportStar RTC represent an economic breakthrough in the towing of gliders.
Evektor also presented the EuroStar SL+, the latest model of the popular EuroStar product line with sales success in 50 countries worldwide. Further presented was the light weight version of the EuroStar SL, equipped with Rotax 912UL, 3-blade propeller, COMM+XPDR Becker AR6201+BXP6401, engine & flight instruments, ballistic recovery system, Whelen MB3 anti-collision beacons, position lights and external painting – all with a total empty weight of only 289 kg. The EuroStar SL light version can therefore be recommended as a great solution for customers looking for a modern UL airplane with maximized useful load, flight school proven reliability and quality from an EASA approved manufacturer.
