Evektor handed over two new aircraft to customers from Germany and Chile at AERO Friedrichshafen

At Aero 2019 Evektor handed over two brand new manufactured aircraft to its owners from Germany and Chile. A ceremonial handover was attended by journalists from various countries and Aero visitors.

The first handed over aircraft was the new EuroStar SLW Sport 600 with registration mark “D-MKAR”. The SLW Sport 600 model is based on the proven EuroStar SLW model, with reinforced structure to 600 kg MTOW, tapered wings and stabilizer, 120 l integral wing tanks, useful load up 270 kg and meeting the new 600 kg MTOW rules in Germany. The aircraft was equipped with Rotax 912ULS (100 hp engine), Neuform constant speed propeller, Flymap EFIS, analogue engine instruments and ballistic recovery system. EuroStar SLW Sport 600 is currently under approval process by the German DAeC and is going to be among the first aircraft on the market approved in the new the new 600 kg UL regulation      in Germany. The owner of the EuroStar SLW, D-MKAR, will be operated by a private pilot for touring and leisure flying.

Aero 2019 has become a big day also for a customer from Chile - the company Aerocenter, represented by CEO Hermann Flores. Aerocenter acquired Harmony LSA for its flight school in Santiago. The handed over aircraft, registration mark “CC-DAR”, was equipped with the latest Dynon SkyView HDX Glass Cockpit with Dual 10” Touch Screens, Dynon SkyView Autopilot, Night equipment package, Rotax 912iS Sport Fuel Injected engine and WarpDrive propeller. Aerocenter operates Evektor aircraft for PPL, Night and IFR training. Harmony LSA, exported by Evektor to the USA, Australia, Chile, Brazil and other countries with LSA rules, is the latest model from Evektor´s 600 kg MTOW LSA product line, based on its predecessor SportStar which became the very first FAA approved S-LSA aircraft in the world.

At Aero 2019 Evektor presented also EASA certified pilot training aircraft SportStar RTC which has received EASA certification for VFR Night operation this April. The aircraft is popular among the European air clubs and flight schools for PPL / LAPL training, solo time building and other training. The presented SportStar RTC, registration OK-NVF, was equipped with the latest Garmin G3X Glass Cockpit with Dual 10.6” Screes, NAV/COM Garmin GNC 255, Night equipment package and ballistic recovery system.

SportStar RTC receives EASA approval for night operation

Evektor´s training and pilot touring aircraft SportStar RTC received EASA approval for night operation today. This is great news for flight training organizations which can cover now both Day & Night training with SportStar RTC, reducing significantly costs for training courses compared to traditional training aircraft. SportStar RTC is popular among the European air clubs and professional pilot training organizations operating SportStar RTC for PPL and Night Rating training, CPL single engine training and Solo (PIC) Time Building.
 
Night VFR version of SportStar RTC is equipped with the certified Rotax 912S (100 hp),      3-blade ground adjustable propeller, Garmin G3X Touch Glass Cockpit with Dual 10.6” Screens, back-up ASI and ALT and night lighting package. SportStar RTC´s modern design, robust metal airframe, an excellent reliability proven in flight school operations, outstanding control harmonies, easy maintenance and low operating costs represent an excellent training platform for flight schools and air clubs.

The first Night VFR equipped SportStar RTC in Europe was delivered by Evektor to a professional pilot training academy Aviation Career Center in Slovenia early April 2019. Evektor-Aerotechnik has under production SportStar RTC with night equipment for other customers from the European and also non-European countries. In the USA the SportStar has been used for night operation and also IFR training since 2005.

Evektor delivers two SportStar RTC to a professional pilot training organization Aviation Career Center in Slovenia

We are pleased to announce delivery of two SportStar RTC aircraft to Aviation Career Center from Maribor in Slovenia. Aviation Career Center, based at Maribor international airport, is a professional pilot training organization, specializing in training of airline pilots from zero to ATPL, Airbus A320 Type rating, commercial and private pilots training. The company is one of the most competitive Flight Academies in Europe providing pilot training services to students from more than 20 countries around the world.

In the Zero to ATPL course the SportStar RTC will fill the phases focused on PPL and Night Rating training, CPL single engine training and Solo (PIC) Time Building. For CPL multi engine and IFR training we will use complex training aircraft. The delivered SportStar RTC, registration mark S5-DNK, was equipped with Night VFR equipment package, the latest Garmin G3X Dual 10.6 Touch Screens Glass Cockpit and NAV/COM Garmin GNC 255. The first SportStar RTC, registration S5-DNA, Evektor delivered to Aviation Career Center in September / 2018.

Similarly to Aviaton Career Center from Maribor, two SportStar RTC are operated also by a professional flight training organization Sky Flight Academy from Krems in Austria. Beside growing popularity of SportStar RTC among the European flight schools and air clubs the SportStar is operated in many flight training organizations in the USA and Australia.
